I love being frugal. I love simple living. It is a habit. It is my way of life.

Frugal =/= Cheapskate

Frugality according to wikipedia is the quality of being frugal, sparing, thrifty, prudent or economical in the use of consumable resources such as food, time or money, and avoiding waste, lavishness or extravagance.

I don’t spend unneccessarily and excessively.

I bring my water bottle when I am out and seldom buy drinks, I do not mind topping up with tap water. This reduces my sugar intake and saves a lot of money.

I like to take public transport since my country is small and easily accessed. I used to drive a 2nd hand car and the monthly cost is around S$1000. Now my transport expenditure is only 10% of it (S$150 maxed).

I wear simple clothings and usually only buy if on discounts. I do not like to pay retail price since they are usually marked up by a lot.
